Update and Layoff

Hello my lovely readers!

Just sending a quick update that I will be sending out a newsletter Sunday night or Monday instead of today. I want to recap White Lotus once the season finale has aired! It’s a pretty slow pop culture week anyway.

Also, mere hours after sending last week’s letter where I talked about randomly being in a good mood, I got laid off from my job. With no severance by the way. As much as I want to say “Screw this place, I’m out!” I’m being the bigger person and have spent this last week of work trying to transition projects and wrap things up so it's been actually quite busy. Tomorrow is my last official day of work, so I'm a bit too slammed to write PerkCulture today.
